Breast reduction or Reduction Mammoplasty is among the most popular procedures in plastic surgery with a consistently high patient satisfaction rate. The procedure removes excessive breast tissue and reshapes and lifts the breast mound and the nipples. The procedure is usually very effective in relieving pain in the shoulders, neck, and back resulting from the excessive weight and ptosis (sag) of the breasts.
