Soft Tissue Fillers Denver

Also known as “liquid facelifts,” soft tissue fillers can plump lips, enhance shallow contours, and soften facial creases and wrinkles. Soft tissue fillers can temporarily provide the benefits of a facelift without the down time or recovery time. All soft tissues are temporary and will need to be repeated to maintain the results. Soft tissue fillers can enhance the overall appearance of the face and create a younger and fuller appearance. There are multiple soft tissue fillers used by Dr. Swail including:

  • Juvederm ™
  • Restylane ®
  • Perlane ®
  • Radiesse ™
  • Sculptra ™

Dr. Swail can help to determine which filler should be used to correct each patient’s individual needs. Each soft tissue filler has its own benefits, and the use of a specific filler will be bases on the patient’s personal needs.

Soft Tissue Filler Procedure

The procedure begins with a thorough examination and discussion concerning the overall desired results and expectations for the procedure. Once Dr. Swail has a clear understanding of the patient’s desired outcome, he will design a personalized strategy.

Before any injections are made, a topical anesthetic is used to numb the areas where injections will be made to ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure. Once the areas are numb, injections will be carefully made in the affected areas. The injections take just seconds and the overall procedure is typically done in a matter of minutes.

Soft Tissue Filler Results

Once the procedure is complete, ice is recommended to soothe any minor discomfort or swelling following the procedure. Typically, patients are able to return to daily activities immediately following soft tissue filler injections. In some cases, additional treatments may be necessary for deep lines and scars. It is important to not apply direct pressure to injection sites after the procedure as it may cause soft tissue filler to move. The way the face continues to age and how the body absorbs fillers will determine how long the results will last. Even “semi-permanent” facial fillers will require repeat treatments, as none of the facial fillers are permanent.

Dr. Swail meets with each patient personally to discuss their desired outcomes and expectations prior to each procedure. This allows Dr. Swail to design a customized procedure to achieve great long-lasting results, following a soft tissue filler procedure.
