Anne Tamkin
Practice Manager / Medical Aesthetician
Anne’s career began 17 years ago as a medical esthetician working alongside dermatologists and plastic surgeons in Chicago. After moving to Colorado, she spent several years in business development for a professional skincare company working with spas, medical practices, and wellness centers nationwide. Anne is a Colorado-licensed esthetician specializing in chemical peels, photo-rejuvenation, laser treatments, permanent hair removal, dermaplaning, micro-needling, and microdermabrasion. She graduated from University of Aesthetics, True U Advanced Esthetics Program, and Northern Illinois University. Prior to her career as an esthetician, Anne served in the U.S. Air Force both home and abroad. Anne is passionate about the education component of aesthetics, and she will offer you a comprehensive skin care plan that is based on your individual goals. She believes healthy, glowing skin is achievable for everyone!

Yolanda Hinton, R.N.
Botox / Facial Filler / Laser / Sclerotherapy
Yolanda is a Registered Nurse who has been with Boulder Valley Plastic Surgery since 1993. She has been administering Botox ever since it has been available on the market. Yolanda has extensive knowledge in Botox and facial fillers due to consistently updating her education and training. Yolanda typically performs injectable procedures, such as Botox, facial fillers, and sclerotherapy (spider vein injection). Additionally, she also provides laser skin care treatments. Yolanda not only treats her patients with professionalism, but she establishes an ongoing, trustworthy friendship. Her focus has always been the well being and satisfaction of her patients.

Kristin Jahnke
Surgical Office Administrator
Kristin is a Colorado native that grew up on a family farm in Ellicott, CO. After graduating as Valedictorian of her high school, she attended Colorado State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Merchandising with a minor in Business. Transitioning her location to Denver brought her new experiences; one of them being dancing professionally for the NBA with the Denver Nuggets for 3 years. Through this experience she has gained many personable skills, making our patients one of her top priorities. She loves meeting new people and making them feel welcomed and comfortable at BVPS. Expanding her knowledge into the aesthetic field, Kristin is taking on new clients, specializing with the Morpheus8.

Dianne Barnes, R.N. BSN
Surgical Nurse Supervisor
Dianne is a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience and received her credentials from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She currently works closely as a nurse with the ICU unit at Boulder Community Hospital as well as alongside Dr. Swail for 6+ years. Dianne is compassionate and empathetic for her patients and always looks out for their best interest! Through all her experience, she has been able to create a relationship with each individual patient allowing for the upmost care from pre-op to post-op

Allyson
Allyson came to Boulder Valley Plastic Surgery in 2008 after obtaining her Medical Assisting Certification from Eastern New Mexico University. After taking some time off to build her family, she is back assisting Dr Swail in the Operating Room. She grew up on the Front Range and currently lives with her husband, 3 kids and 2 rescue dogs in Boulder. Working in surgery is a passion of hers and being a part of helping people feel comfortable in their skin brings her joy every day. Outside of work you can find her working on home improvement projects or yelling too loudly at sporting events.

Mary Michael RN, BSN
Surgical Nurse/Assistant
Mary is a Registered Nurse who graduated from Lipscomb University. She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and moved out to Colorado to pursue a career in a Burn & Reconstructive ICU for 3 years. Mary takes pride in treating every patient with dignity and respect. She has always been a natural, nurturing caregiver and loves making patients feel comfortable and confident in the care they are receiving. When Mary isn’t at BVPS, you can find her frequenting Trader Joe’s, skiing with her boyfriend, or hiking with her chocolate lab when the weather is nice and warm.
